There is a special section of worship for kids. They are invited to join the minister at the front of the sanctuary. If your child is not comfortable with that, you are more than welcome to join them or just enjoy the time from your seat.
After Children’s Time during Worship
Children through 2nd grade are welcome to go play in classrooms or outside with adult supervision for the rest of the service. If your child is uncomfortable with that, they are welcome to stay in the sanctuary. Sometimes parents are worried their kids make too much noise. Don't fret! We love wiggly kids in worship. Over time, they'll learn what is going on and grow more comfortable.
There are activity packets with coloring pages and pencils to keep kids engaged and busy during the service. Ask at the Welcome Desk for help finding these packets.
There is a short (30-60 minute) lesson for kids. These lessons may include a time of songs, learning about God through age-appropriate lessons, or fun activities. Ask at our Welcome Center for directions.
During this time, parents often visit with others over a cup of coffee and a bite to eat in the atrium, or take a few moments to relax and regroup. Both are great options!
